Groundbreaking Ceremony of 2600 Independence after 5 years of Land Unused

Ground was officially broken on Tuesday on a new mixed-use development at 2600 Independence Blvd. The new development stands on the site of the fatal, October 12, 2015 fire that claimed the lives of KCMO Firefighters Larry Leggio and John Mesh.

CJR was selected as the General Contractor to demo and build a new construction with 2-story mixed-use space including 15 store front commercial projects on the main level, and 15 single-unit apartments on the second level. This project is part of the Urban Core Redevelopment in the HUB Zone of Kanss City, MO on 2600 Indpendence and Prospect.
